    Using the Paint Symmetry tool in Photoshop lets you create mirrored and symmetrical designs and patterns such as mandalas. Symmetry works with the brushes, eraser and pencil as well as with layer masking and there are ten symmetry tools available to use. 

     

    For this particular post we’ve chosen to work with the Mandala tool.

It has to be said Microsoft Teams has been a god send. We’re now starting to see some of the main questions delegates ask prior to booking online training with the main ones being how do I use my software in conjunction with Microsoft Teams.

    InDesign Colour Theme Tool

    InDesign Colour Theme Tool 

    Welcome to the wonderful little tool known as the InDesign Colour Theme Tool which was introduced to the software in version 2014. It’s absolutely perfect for setting a matching theme throughout the layout and the colours can be added both to Swatches and the Library. Which means, of course the themes can then be shared across to both Illustrator and Photoshop (oh and Premier Pro – Premier Pro also includes the Creative Cloud Library).

     

    Another cool thing about the Colour Theme Tool is this handy little tip.

     

    Quick Tip!

    Once you have sampled colour from the image and the colours are inside the panel you then either click Add to Swatches or Add to Library to add the theme. But did you know that if you hold down Q whilst sampling InDesign will set up a colour group of five colours in it automatically. As quick as bish bosh!
