Suitable for beginners and those looking to improve their existing Lightroom workflow.

How do Adobe Lightroom Training Courses work?

This is a flexible Introduction /Bespoke Lightroom course which can be tailored to both your genre of photography and skill level so it’s ideal for anyone new to the software or with basic skills.

Bring your own photography to the course.

We actively encourage you to bring your own photo’s to the course for a completely hands on approach. We know working with your own photography offers better learning curve and deeper understanding of the post-production process when the content is relevant to you than using other photos

Adobe Lightroom Versions

We run courses in both versions of Lightroom which are cloud-based Lightroom or the desktop version Lightroom Classic

How is the Lightroom Course delivered?

We have virtual instructor led training via Zoom, Teams etc with a live trainer accompanying you throughout the course or we visit you at your premises to host the course onsite.

Why use Lightroom?

How to deal with large amounts of photos?

Lightroom is perfect for the photographer with a huge library of photo’s and contains a powerful visual database and for anyone dealing with huge amounts of images its catalogue and collection features are invaluable. On this course you’ll learn how to organise and store your image collections easily and efficiently

What is RAW?

Basically an unprocessed, uncompressed image file caught on your camera that enables high-quality post-processing

There we go, two things learnt already and we’re only a couple of paragraphs down the page. You’ll learn the techniques for importing and organising large image collections, applying consistent colour corrections and enhancements, using presets for faster editing and exporting photos ready for print or web use.

Who this course is for?

Designed for new and developing Lightroom users, this practical hands on Lightroom course focuses on real-world workflows that save time and improve visual outcomes.

  • Beginners who want to learn Adobe Lightroom properly from the ground up
  • Photographers who feel unsure about their current editing workflow
  • Anyone with a growing image library who needs help staying organised

Bespoke Lightroom and Photoshop for Photographers Course

Adobe Lightroom Training Courses in Nottingham

Both software apps are incredibly powerful photo editing tools in their own right but together they can improve, enhance and take your photography to a completely different level

About Lightroom

Lightroom excels at organising and cataloguing making it ideal for photographers working with large amounts of photo’s.

It also works extremely well when working with global edits (global edits adjust the entire image rather than a specific area) and presets.

About Photoshop

Photoshop is layer based and gives greater control over more detailed image editing especially for retouching, cloning and more complex editing tasks.

You can use Lightroom to add text to photo’s by adapting the watermark feature but Photoshop gives you access to way more powerful text editing tools.
