What do you learn on Adobe Lightroom Courses in Chester?
- We cover a wide amount of content on the Cheshire based Lightroom course starting at the beginning by learning how to build effective catalogues and collections which in essence manage what is a visual database of potentially a huge collection of images.
- We look at the Lightroom interface & take a look at the main modules involved in editing, enhancing and repairing photographs.
- Adobe Lightroom Presets are always very popular so we take a look at using the existing Lightroom presets and then creating new unique ones to design your own preset collection.
- You’ll take an indepth look at enhancing and retouching your photos with the ‘Develop Tab’
- We take an indepth look into different selection tools and selection techniques for both whole images or sections of image by using masks and object selections. As a matter of interest the Select Objects, brush selection and rectangle selection are AI generated.
To quote Greta Powell “You’re dead in the water if you can’t select properly”
- Finally you’ll learn to export and publish to print or digital output and work with *compositions, montage, slideshows and create a photo-book for digital or print.
*Compositions and photo books etc are optional. Our Lightroom courses are flexible and content can be added or removed to suit your criteria.

Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop Training in Chester, Cheshire
Lightroom & Photoshop Training
Both of these are incredibly powerful photo editing tools in their own right but together they can improve, enhance and take your photography to a completely different level
About Lightroom
Lightroom excels at organising and cataloguing making it ideal for photographers working with large amounts of photo’s.
It also works extremely well when working with global edits (global edits adjust the entire image rather than a specific area) and presets.
About Photoshop
Photoshop is layer based and gives greater control over more detailed image editing especially for retouching, cloning and more complex editing tasks.
You can use Lightroom to add text to photo’s by adapting the watermark feature but Photoshop gives you access to way more powerful text editing tools.
