Who is it for?
Being an Introduction to InDesign course its ideal for anyone new to the software wanting to hit the ground running by creating, editing and publishing professional looking documents for print and web.
This course is also suitable for anyone with limited knowledge who wants to get a firmer understanding of the software.
What will I learn?
It then shows how to build the document by adding frames, text and artwork to create professional looking documents based on the principles of good design. You will find out how to work with text, make it thread (flow) through one or more frames, create styles for accurate and consistent type and add artwork (Vector and Raster).
During the InDesign Course you work with and understand the role that grids, guides and baseline grids play in the design process and how they all combine to produce beautiful laid out documents destined for print, digital and social media. And as with everything at the end you learn how to publish the document to either digital or print.
