Adobe Photoshop Elements 2025 -New Features

Released 1st October 2024 Adobe Photoshop Elements 2025 new features are quite impressive. Lots of useful practical new tools including the Remove Tool which to be fair has been available in Photoshop since 2023 but hey ho better late than never and to be fair it does work well. Although to be fair 2025 is not such a massive leap from Photoshop Elements 2024 which on its release came with a much more visually accessible and user friendly interface and included a number of very clever updates including the Quick Actions Panel.
Adobe Photoshop Elements 2025 New FeaturesSo as you might expect as well as the Remove tool which lets you easily ‘brush out’ unneeded parts of an image it also comes with the Depth Blur which obviously will be mega popular with photographers into creating realistic depth of field.

Adobe AI Tools
All Adobe’s Creative Cloud AI tools, otherwise known as Intellisense, run on the Firefly engine which is their software behind these tools. Photoshop Elements isn’t actually part of the actual Adobe Creative Cloud suite and is purchased seperately to the others but it shares some similiar AI features to Photoshop. Depth Blur Tool in Adobe Photoshop Elements
The Depth Blur Tool in Elements gives you control over the existing blokeh in a photograph or lets you add it from scratch. It’s extremely precise, choose a focal point then let Depth Blur create blur where needed. It can do this automatically or you can tweak the distance, range and strength of the blur yourself.
Guided Edits in Adobe Photoshop Elements
There’s a selection of guided edits available that make changes a breeze. You can use them to change backgrounds, add ‘fun effects’, textures and graphics with virtually the click of a mouse.
Adobe Photoshop Elements & Colour
Using the new AI automatic selection tools colours in any part of a photo can be selected then new colours, hue and saturation effects etc can be applied virtually instantly.
Making Collages in Elements
Elements comes with a nifty collage maker which is a little similiar to Photoshop’s layer masking tools. You can now easily combine multiple images to build a blended single photo by using elements from different images to design different backgrounds or focal subjects.
How to make a collage in Photoshop Elements?
Photoshop Elements Collage MakerOpen two or more images then go to Create >Photo Collage Select a Size and Theme from the Options then choose Autofill with select images contained in Photo Bin Click OK You can then customise the collage to your own design using the features contained in the Create Panel If you save this as a PSD (Photoshop file) you’ll be able to edit it later on or even open it in Photoshop  And to print simply go to File >Print (Com + P or Cont + P) And finally currently in Beta are additional apps for working with Elements on the go, these let you access, retouch, edit and share work whilst on the move.
