InDesign Layout Example
A larger size InDesign Layout example created and designed by one of the delegates on an InDesign Training Course. It should be said that this delegate had virtually no InDesign skills whatsoever at the beginning of the course. This was designed just after lunch using the tools and techniques covered in the morning session.
Although this was an introduction to InDesign Course the object of the training was to produce a regular newsletter for her company that she could send out to their clients.
So then I got to thinking why stop at one example – here’s another from last week. This is a facing page spread where both the odds and evens page’s are displayed. This delegate wanted to design small booklets and handouts for her clients at marketing events and to send out.
This did originally start out as a beautiful colour spread of rich greens and reds but half-way through she decided to go with black and white which meant we delved into Photoshop to convert the image from colour to B&W. But this is the beauty of onsite Adobe Training. It is styled around you and for you and if you want to include some specific Photoshop work during your course then you can. I like this spread. It looks quite straightforward but there is more to it than meets the eye.
