Illustrator Tutorial – Crop Tool
One of the questions I get asked on Illustrator Training Courses is ‘How do I crop an Image in Illustrator’? Quite simply in earlier versions the answer was you can’t. We used clipping masks and workarounds in those early versions.
However that’s all changed in Illustrator CC because now it comes fully equipped with a crop tool

Place your image as normal (File >Place)
Re-position the image on the Illustrator Artboard or do, whatever you need to do with it and then once you’re happy with it.

Illustrator Training – Onsite Courses
All aspects of placing and manipulating an image are covered in the Introduction to Illustrator Training Course as are all the basic tools and features of the software. Illustrator training is run onsite (in-house) at your premises or a local venue.
These are ideal for those looking for an individual approach to their training, as team roll outs for larger companies or as private company courses onsite. They take between 1 to 2 days depending on the amount of people attending.
For those with some experience or just a little rusty the content can be tailored to suit you . Content can be taken from other courses and worked into the Intro. Please get in touch for an informal chat about your Adobe Illustrator training needs.
