The course starts with the very basics and covers the tools and features used in Photoshop. During the day you will learn to create, enhance and retouch new and existing images, work with layers and produce accurate colour proofing. As well as looking at Adobe’s none-destructive workflow we also take a look at some of the AI features including Generative Fill and Neural Filters.

The images you create on the first day of your Adobe Training Course will be carried over to the next day and used in one or more of your InDesign layouts.

On the course you’ll learn how to work with Adobe’s none-destructive workflow by working with Adjustment Layers, Smart Objects etc. By the end of the Photoshop Training day you will have created and designed images for both print and digital including social media graphics and web images.

As with the Photoshop Course the day two InDesign Training starts with the basic tools, features and techniques. You’ll learn to create, design and publish a wide variety of layouts for both print and digital output.

Adobe InDesign has very similar features to other desktop publishing software and you’ll look at working with both text and images to produce documents including flyers, magazines, interactive PDF’s and more.  Because this is a combination course we incorporate the images and assets created on the Photoshop Course into InDesign.

The typical type of things we create in InDesign are posters, flyers,  manuals, marketing and promotional literature which usually include images created on day one Photoshop Course.

Day one is spent in Photoshop whilst day two is spent in InDesign.

During your InDesign Course you also look at creating print & interactive PDF’s and work with rich media assets, buttons and links.

You will produce a wide variety of materials on the course and can bring your own ideas and files to the training.

Prior to the training we arrange either a voice call or video meeting to discuss exactly what content you would like covering on your course.

If you want to learn how to create and design high impact professional design for professional output then this course is ideal. You’ll learn how to work with images for use in both print and web by creating, retouching and editing photographs to a professional level on the first day. We look at how to create banners, social media posts using multiple images and the text and the practicalities involved in exporting these correctly.

The second day looks at InDesign where you’ll create and design professional publications containing rich graphics for both print and digital output. This course is very hands on and you learn by working with a wide variety of different spreads and layouts which could include flyers, brochures, newsletters, tri-fold leaflets, infographics, banners, social media ad’s and more.

Over the years it’s been delivered as a one to one session and also to a wide range of companies both public and private sector, large and small. It’s been particularly useful for small businesses looking to bring their design needs in-house for their print and design.
