Using Adaptive Presets
in Photoshop Camera Raw Filter
Adobe Photoshop is full of Adaptive Tools, one of which are Adaptive Presets. These are one of those hidden tools and in this instance are found in Photoshop’s Camera Raw Filter which is accessible from the Filter menu directly inside Photoshop.
What are Adaptive Presets?
Adaptive Presets are AI generated and work very similarly to any normal preset with the difference being that they concentrate on an area. This is a specific area such as the background, a person, the sky, they actually work on these specific attributes by automatically generating masks.
You can hover the cursor above the preset, apply it and even edit it inside the filter.
Accessing Adaptive Presets
You’ll find Photoshop’s Adaptive Presets in the Camera Raw Filter
Filter Menu >Camera Raw >Adaptive Presets
Once clicked on the image will load into the window and you’ll see the tools on the right hand side where you can select Adaptive Presets.
Camera RAW Presets
Many people think that Camera RAW is only accessible by clicking and opening a RAW file directly in Photoshop but this is not strictly the case because in June 2014 Adobe included it as a Filter in Photoshop which was Photoshop 2014 and it gave incredible control over photographs.
It’s an incredibly powerful feature which offers a range of different adjustments including adaptive presets for colour correction, balance, exposure and so forth but, as said earlier it’s their flexibility in dynamic adjusting based on tone, shade and colour that gives them their adaptive features.
