
InDesign Training – Introduction
This InDesign Training is run in Kenilworth, Stoneleigh Park and across Warwickshire and provides the skills needed to edit current documents and create, design and output new documents. This is an onsite InDesign Course delivered at your premises for team roll outs, small company groups and 121 individual sessions. It is perfect for absolute beginners or those with rusty skills looking for a refresher course. InDesign is probably the worlds most popular desktop publishing software and is used to create just about every type of document there is for both print and digital output.
This InDesign training course is very much hands on and you will learn to create and layout various communicative, branded and professional documents during the training. These will include working with type, colour and imagery for visual continuity and a consistent look. Because this is onsite training it can be tailored specifically to your industry including marketing, construction, design, administration, publishing and so forth with layouts relevant to your daily work flow. For example reports, financial reports, brochures, short or long tender documents, POS materials, marketing documents, brochures and so forth.
InDesign Training can be run in all versions of the software including InDesign CS5, InDesign CS6, InDesign CC, InDesign CC 2015, InDesign CC 2017 and InDesign CC 2018 on either MAC or PC
InDesign Introduction Training – what you will learn
Full InDesign Introduction overview below but in short you will learn how to:
- Edit & Update existing documents
- Create New Documents (including bleed, slug, margins & columns)
- Work with colour, typography and use grids and guides to publish accurate and consistent looking documents
- Understand the tools, features and techniques used to create highly effective and communicative layouts and spreads
- Learn to edit and work with existing documents
- Format, Layout and Design Documents
- Create basic Interactive documents
- Publish to various outputs including InDesign, PDF and Export
InDesign Course Info
This InDesign Course content takes between one and two days depending on the amount of people sitting on the training.
For one person a day usually suffices but for small groups of between 4 and 6 people two days is more realistic.
