What is an ePublishing course?

Our ePublishing course focuses on getting documents out to digital devices including iPads, iPods, Kindles and Android devices using either Adobe InDesign or QuarkXpress 9 App Studio. 

 

Our ePublishing courses show you how ebooks are formatted and designed so that all text and graphics flow smoothly and look professional on their intended digital platform.  Our InDesign ePubs course covers all aspects of producing an ebook from its initial layout through to the upload to online shops such as iTunes.

 

*When using Adobe InDesign ePubs on the ePublishing course we also look at how external applications such as Calibre are used to convert ePubs to Kindle format.

Our InDesign Interactive Design Course shows you how to get digital material such as magazines designed and loaded onto iPads, iPhones and other digital devices.  As with our ebook course we cover all the elements involved in creating rich media including multimedia, liquid display, animation, pan and zoom, scrolling etc.

Who uses ePublishing?

A wide range of people including writers who may be interested in the self publishing electronic route for a single ebook or a publisher with the intent of a far larger ebook distribution.
