Twitter User Galleries

What are Twitter User Galleries?

Basically a Twitter User Gallery is part of the Twitter arsenal to incorporate images directly into Twitter.  By clicking the camera icon directly next to the ‘New Tweet’ box you can directly upload an image to Twitter.  From this week Twitter are rolling out the User Galleries which will show up to one hundred images on the user profile.  User galleries are or will be accessible from the profile section of your twitter account.

Adobe Illustrator Auto Trace

When using Adobe Illustrator’s Auto Trace function one of the first things people say is ‘how can I work with all these paths and anchor points’?

Quick Tip for Adobe Illustrator Auto Trace

After the Auto Trace has run, select all paths and anchor points then right click with the mouse and select ‘ungroup’ from the drop down menu.

This breaks each section down into its own segment leaving you free to develop creative flow.

Fit Text in Adobe InDesign

Fit Text in Adobe InDesign

Use Adobe InDesigns little known feature the InDesign Story Editor to sort out overset text (overset text is any text that does not fit inside a text frame and is shown by the small red cross at the bottom right of the text frame).

Adobe InDesign and its small red cross are not overly helpful because there is indication as to exactly how much overflowing text there actually is so go to the InDesign Story Editor by going to ‘Edit in Story Editor’ or using the shotcut keys ctrl/cmd + Y which will tell you how much overflowing text you have.

Make any text edits in the Story Editor and return to InDesign.
